RANCHO ROMERO EDUCATION FUND (RREF) MISSION
Rancho Romero Education Fund (RREF), an affiliate of the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation (SRVEF), is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to help maintain and enhance the quality of education at Rancho Romero School through the collaboration of parents, educators, the school’s Site Council, and the community.
HOW RREF RAISES MONEY
In order to fulfill its mission, parents and the community are called upon to contribute in the form of financial donations as well as volunteer support. RREF raises funds through a variety of means including Family Donations, eSCRIP, Corporate Matching Gifts, as well as the school year’s biggest fundraising event, the Rancho auction and cocktail/dinner party.

FAMILY DONATIONS
RREF requests a tax deductible family donation of at least $500 per student. This equates to just $1.36 per day and allows us to provide exceptional programs for our children. Family donations are the single largest source of income for Rancho’s Education Fund.
Questions? Contact Caroline Keighran.
AUCTION
The annual auction is a fundraising event hosted by the Rancho Romero Education Fund. This year it will include an on-line auction and fun events such as Camp Rancho and Teacher Treats for the kids and a fabulously fun auction party for the adults. Many people have already signed up to help but we are still looking for more committed volunteers to help with the annual fundraising auction and its associated activities and projects. With enough volunteers it will only take up a little of your time. It is a great way to meet new people and to help our school.
Questions? Contact Marisa Massie.
CORPORATE MATCHING
A program sponsored by many companies that “matches” your donations to non-profit organizations like the Rancho Romero Education Fund. Some companies even provide grants to schools. Corporate Matching can often double the value of your donation to RREF. More...
Questions? Contact Corporate Matching Coordinator, Anita Geary.
eSCRIP
eScrip is a very important and easy fundraiser for Rancho Romero. eScrip generates over $35,000 annually for our school, and all you have to do is shop! You may register your Safeway Club card, your Macy’s card, your credit cards and your debit cards with the eSCRIP program. Once you do, participating merchants will rebate to Rancho Romero a percentage of all purchases made using those cards. It’s easy - and it’s a great way to support our school! For more information on how this program works and how contributions are made or to sign up, see the RREF eSCRIP web page. More...
Questions? Contact Escrip Coordinator, Allison Vrankovich.
TAXES
RREF is a registered non-profit organization 501(c)(3). Our Taxpayer ID Number is 91-1796297. 100% of funds donated to Foundation are used for educational and enrichment programs, equipment, and materials to improve the quality of learning at Rancho Romero Elementary School.
Questions? Contact RREF Treasurer, Tracey Bracco.
